Project Case: Greenland Aluminium Doors, Windows and Curtain Wall Project, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

latest company case about [#aname#]

This project, located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is a large-scale high-end residential complex currently under construction by our company. It comprises 4 blocks, totaling 11 high-rise towers ranging from 39 to 44 stories, with a total contracted area of approximately 75,000 square meters for doors, windows, and curtain walls. The project scope is comprehensive and complex, encompassing multiple systems including aluminium doors & windows, glass curtain walls, steel structure canopies, decorative grilles, decorative Fins, and large-scale streamlined louvers on the roof.

  • From a Design Perspective: Handling the integration of such diverse systems required a core focus on coordination and innovation. We employed integrated design approaches, utilizing technologies like BIM to ensure seamless interfaces between all systems in terms of structure, drainage, and thermal performance. The decorative grilles and Fins not only define the rhythmic and modern facade aesthetics but were also analyzed for fluid dynamics to optimize wind resistance. The large rooftop louvers provide essential ventilation while forming a distinctive architectural crown.

  • From a Production Perspective: The project demanded extremely high levels of supply chain management and quality control. We adopted a hybrid production strategy of "standardization coupled with customization." Standardized products like windows were batch-produced for efficiency, while complex curtain wall units, special-shaped grilles, and large louvers underwent dedicated mold development and customized fabrication. Pre-assembly in the factory ensured precision and quality, laying a solid foundation for smooth on-site installation.

  • From an Installation Perspective: The synchronized construction of multiple super-tall towers presented a significant installation management challenge. We developed segmented hoisting plans for each zone and utilized precise surveying techniques to guarantee installation accuracy at great heights. Through meticulous construction sequencing, we coordinated the installation order of different systems, effectively avoiding conflicts from cross-trade activities. This ensured the safe, efficient, and orderly progress of this massive project within a complex site environment.

This project showcases our company's robust capability as a total solution provider for large-scale and complex building envelope systems, from design to build.
